E-Prime Go 1.0
Detail
For researchers using Automated mode, data is automatically uploaded to the E-Prime Go website (eprimego.com). For test sessions that may have resulted in a runtime error, the Last Status message on the website is not entirely clear or helpful. Currently, Last Status is indicated as Experiment Finished which does not distinguish itself much from an experiment run that has the status of "Complete."
NOTE: These status messages will be updated in a future version of the website.
Sessions that are marked as "Experiment Finished" should be investigated further as an error or early termination of the experiment may have occurred. In most cases of Experiment Finished, a runtime error occurs that causes early termination of the protocol. Therefore, a full complete data set is not uploaded to the E-Prime Go website. To obtain data, E-Recovery can be used to generate an .edat3 file (E-RECOVERY: Recovering Files [22925]).
With "Experiment Finished" sessions, researchers should instruct participants to navigate to C:\Users\[Account Name]\AppData\Local\Temp\epg\paradigms. In that location, some data files should be present. Participants can send that data to the researcher so an .edat3 can be generated from the .txt file.
NOTE: Future versions of E-Prime Go will automatically upload any error information, preventing the need for participants to manually submit data on error runs.
