This bug was first reported in E-Prime Go 1.0 (1.0.2.41).
This bug has been corrected in E-Prime Go 1.0 (1.0.3.61).
Symptoms
E-Prime Go experiments packed in folders containing numerous files in an experiment folder or sub-folder causes E-Prime Go to either freeze or appear to lockup.
Detail
E-Prime Go must search through each of the files in an experiment folder or sub-folder(s) to find files to pack. If there are numerous files and/or sub-folders to search through, this operation can take a noticeable amount of time. E-Prime Go may either freeze up or appear to lockup when performing this search.
Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime Go 1.0 (1.0.3.61) or later.
Workaround
These workarounds are intended only for those users who are unable to update to the E-Prime Go version that contains the bug fix.
Option 1:
Pack in a clean folder as outlined in our best practices (INFO: E-Prime Go Best Practices [35507]).
Option 2:
Wait for the resource search to finish. You may note that upon completion a large number of files are selected:
