BUG FIX: E-Prime Go locks up on Win7x86 when Collect Machine Info is selected [35154]

This bug was introduced in E-Prime Go 1.0 Beta (1.0.1.23).

This bug has been fixed in E-Prime Go 1.0 (1.0.1.44).

Symptoms

The E-Prime Go interface locks up on Windows 7x86 machine when the "Collect Machine Info" option is selected.

Detail

When running the packed experiment, it locks up on "task loading."

Solution

Upgrade to E-Prime Go 1.0 (1.0.1.44) or later.

Workaround

These workarounds are intended only for those users who are unable to update to the E-Prime version that contains the bug fix.

Do not have the Collect Machine Info button enable (i.e., uncheck it).
