E-Prime Go 1.0
This bug was first reported on the E-Prime Go website with Web Client version 1.0.2.15.
This bug has been corrected on the E-Prime Go website with Web Client version 1.0.3.61.
Symptoms
Experiments that are run with the same Subject and Session number and with the same day, hour, and minute time stamp are placed in the same subfolder when the files are downloaded from the E-Prime Go website.
Detail
When downloading multiple Session files from the E-Prime Go website, files are organized into subfolders within the downloaded zip file based on the subject and session number and experiment timestamp. When multiple data files share these properties, they are placed in the same sub-folder. Issues can arise when extracting files with matching file names from the same sub-folder.
Solution
Download the experiments again on the E-Prime Go website.
Workaround
These workarounds are intended only for those users who are unable to download their E-Prime Go data files again.
The following workarounds are possible:
Workaround 1:
Select "Let me decide for each file". Then "check" both columns and press "Continue".
NOTE: This option should exist in most third-party file compression (ZIP) software. If it does not follow another Workaround.
- In 7-Zip, select "Auto Rename".
- In WinRAR, select "Rename All".
- In PeaZip, select "Auto Rename Extracted Files".
- In WinZip, select "Keep Both Files".
Workaround 2:
Manually extract folders containing the same name files to different folders.
Workaround 3:
Download each Session individually.
