The EET 3.1 method for collecting and saving Gaze Data is deprecated in EET 3.2.  Researchers working with EET 3.2 are strongly encouraged to utilize the updated PackageCall routines (documented in Tutorial 2 of the EET 3.2 User Manual Tutorial) for saving gaze data information whenever possible. However, EET 3.2 users who are collaborating with EET 3.1 users may find the need to adopt the deprecated method.  Follow the steps in the attached docuement to add the necessary script and PackageCalls to save gaze data with the deprecated method. 

Since the SaveGazeData script is written generically, it can be added to any EET 3.1 experiment with little to no modifications. Therefore, the attached experiment can be used as a starting point and can be further customized as needed. 

Additionally, the TETSaveGazeData.txt and TETUserScript.txt files are attached to this article. They are the necessary foundations of the script that should be added to any experiment that tracks gaze data in EET 3.1.
