E-Prime Extensions for Tobii Pro 3.2
Symptoms
The following error occurs when running Tobii Pro-enabled experiments consecutively:
The operation 'Start Recording' has resulted in a runtime error.
This error can typically be resolved by ensuring that the Tobii Pro Lab application is opened, an External Presenter project is loaded, and the Record tab is selected.
Error Number: 31526
Tobii Pro Lab Error Status: 104
Detail
This error occurs when Tobii Pro-enabled experiments are run consecutively with Tobii Pro Lab version 1.207. After running a Tobii Pro-enabled experiment in previous versions of Tobii Pro Lab (e.g., 1.181, 1.194, etc.), the External Presenter is set to "Not Connected" (after either save or delete has been selected).
After running a Tobii Pro-enabled experiment in Tobii Pro Lab version 1.207, the External Presenter remains connected (after either save or delete has been selected).
Because the External Presenter remains connected in Tobii Pro Lab version 1.207, subsequent runs of Tobii Pro-enabled E-Prime experiments will produce the error shown above.
Solution
Use a different version of Tobii Pro Lab (e.g., 1.217 or later). Tobii Pro Lab downloads can be found here: https://connect.tobii.com/s/lab-downloads
Workaround
This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:
Reload the External Presenter Project by navigating in Tobii Pro Lab to the "Open existing Project" tab. Then, click on the External Presenter Project to open it. The External Presenter from the previous test run will disconnect.
