BUG: Recursive Merge Operation in E-Merge 3 does not show the .edat3 or .emrg3 file types among the dropdown options [34100]

Symptoms

The Recursive Merge option in E-Merge 3 does not include the .edat3 or .emrg3 file types in  the Enter Selection Criteria dialog.

 
Detail

This occurs when Recursive Merge is selected as the Merge Operation:

The dropdown menu for file specifications shows .edat2 as the default file type, and none of the other options include the E-Prime 3.0 data file types (i.e., .edat3 and .emrg3).

 
Workaround

The dropdown menu can be used as a manual text entry field. Therefore, to include the .edat3 and/or .emrg3 filetypes in a Recursive Merge Operation, manually type out the desired file extension(s) in the Enter Selection Criteria dialog.

The image below shows how to type out and recursively merge all of the .edat3 and .emrg3 files contained in the E-Prime 3.0 experiments folder:
