BUG FIX: Cannot uninstall or modify E-Prime using Windows 10 Apps & Features [30307]

This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 3.0.3.214 (Update 3).

Symptoms

The buttons to modify or uninstall E-Prime from the Windows 10 Apps & Features settings are disabled.

Detail

E-Prime cannot be uninstalled from Windows 10 Apps & Features.

NOTE: This issue does not exist with E-Prime Runtime or E-Prime Extensions. Those programs can be uninstalled but not modified from Windows 10 Apps & Features.

Solution

Update to E-Prime 3.0 Update 3 (3.0.3.214).

Workaround

This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:

Navigate to the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Select the option to "Change" the E-Prime installation. Follow the prompts in the installation wizard to uninstall E-Prime.
