This article applies to:
E-Prime 3.0
This bug was introduced with E-Prime 3.0.3.31 (Initial Release).
This bug has been corrected in E-Prime 3.0.3.80 (Update 2).
Symptoms
E-Prime can occassionally hang on the first display of an experiment run.
Detail
After an experiment is launched and the experimenter enters the requested information during the Startup Info prompts, E-Prime may occasionally hang on the first screeen of the experiment. The experimenter must then either abort the experiment early or perform a conditional exit.
Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime 3.0.3.80 or later.
Workaround
Note: This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the E-Prime version that includes the bug fix.
Attempt to run the experiment again after recovering from E-Prime hang-up.
