BUG: Attribute tab may cause crash when using on-screen keyboard [30619]

Symptoms

E-Studio may close unexpectedly when selecting an Attribute on the Attributes tab in Experiment Explorer.

Detail

This issue may occur when using an on-screen keyboard or a touch device.

Workaround

Close the on-screen keyboard.

If the issue persists, disable the "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel" service via Task Manager or Services.msc.

Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Escape and locate the "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel."

If this exists, press End Task. If this does not exist, try stopping the Service (under the Services tab) or in Services.msc.

To permanently disable this service, click Start > and enter "Services.msc" > locate the "Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service" > change Startup type to "Disabled" and Stop the Service.
