E-Prime 3.0
Detail
E-Prime 3.0 is built with FFMpeg which supports the following extensions, formats, and codecs for SoundOut objects and SlideSoundOut sub-objects:
- wav
- 8-bit, 16-bit
- 8kHz, 22 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz
- Mono, Stereo
- mp3
- wma
- wma2
- wma7
- wma8
- wma9pro
MovieDisplay and SlideMovie (audio) shall support the following extensions, formats, and codecs:
- wav
- mp3
- wma
- aac
- dts
- ac3
- mp2
NOTE: While E-Prime 3.0 prefers to use 2 channel 48kHz at 16 bit, it supports 8 or 16-bit sounds. The audio becomes 16-bit 48kHz at the time of delivery to the operating system or Chronos. Resampling therefore occurs when you do not use 16-bit 48kHz stereo audio. If your audio has a bit depth greater than 16-bit, then it loses precision on the samples and upsampling occurs to a higher sampling rate. If the 16-bit 48kHz stereo sampling fails, then it falls back to 44.1kHz.
