This article applies to:
E-Prime 3.0
This bug was first reported in E-Prime 3.0.3.80 (Update 2).
Symptoms
Experiments may hang whenever the Clock Scale is changed from the default value.
Detail
Changing the Clock Scale from the default value (i.e., 1.000000000) to a value other than 1 may cause experiments to hang after the Startup Info Prompts are completed. Because runtime freezes, E-Prime must be ended using the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete then End Task on E-Studio).
NOTE: Most studies should not run with participants with the Clock Scale at anything other than the default. This is only recommended if the paradigm calls for it. Manipulating the Clock Scale is ideal for testing experiments prior to deploying them in studies.
Workaround
There is no workaround for this bug.
