This article applies to:
E-Prime 3.0
E-Prime 2.0
This bug has been corrected in E-Prime 3.0.3.60 (Update 1).
Symptoms
When attempting to specify a Refresh Rate under Windows 8 or Windows 10, the requested refresh rate is ignored.
Detail
When a specific Refresh Rate is requested in the Display Device (see INFO: Ability to specify RefreshRate in DisplayDevice GUI [18279]), the requested Refresh Rate is ignored. E-Prime does not attempt to run at the requested refresh rate and instead typically uses the highest refresh rate supported by the video system. This problem is specific to running E-Prime 3.0 or E-Prime 2.0 under Windows 8 or Windows 10. This problem does not occur if running under Windows 7.
Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime 3.0.3.60 or later.
Workaround
This workaround is intended only for those users who are unable to update to the E-Prime version that contains the bug fix.
Run under Windows 7 to avoid this problem.

Can I use E-Prime 2.0 to avoid this issue in win10? I have installed E-Prime 2.0 on win10, and the data file always report about 60hz of refreshrate no matter of what i specify( e.g., 100Hz, 144Hz)
