INFO: Using Backup files in EET 3.1 [27069]

Detail

Once you save an experiment upgraded from EET 3.0 to EET 3.1, a backup file is created. The backup file exists in the same location as the original experiment.

If you wish to open the backup file, you must follow these steps:

1) Click the file and press F2 to rename it with".es3" at the end of the file name. The addition of ".es3" sets the file extension to be an E-Studio file. For example, if your backup file is named "TETFixedPositionAOI EET Backup.001", then the appended file name is "TETFixedPositionAOI EET Backup.001.es3." Press "Enter" once ".es3" is added.

2) Verify that a "Rename" prompt appears after renaming the file. Click "Yes" to change the extension.

3) Verify the file icon changes to the E-Studio icon. This indicates the file was renamed properly and the extension opens with E-Studio.
