Detail
When a Sound or Movie object loads in E-Prime, an AudioLoadReport or VideoLoadReport XML file is generated to log which codecs were used during the load processing. These reports also help to determine if there are any errors. However, if you do not want these reports then use one of the following options:
E-Prime 2.0
- Suppress the creation of the load reports using Codec Config
- Open Codec Config.
- Navigate to the Tools Menu.
- Select Options.
- Uncheck "Write out a report after loading a media file".
NOTE: This option disables the creation of audio and/or video load reports for any experiment that runs on the computer.
E-Prime 2.0 and E-Prime 3.0
-
Delete the reports at the end of the experiment using E-Basic script. Add an InLine object to the end of the experiment's Session procedure with the following script:
Kill "*LoadReport*"
NOTE: This method deletes the load reports created by the specific experiment.
