This article applies to:
E-Prime 3.0
E-Prime 2.0
This item was introduced in E-Prime 2.0 (2.0.10.174).
Detail
When a Sound/Movie object loads in E-Prime, an AudioLoadReport or VideoLoadReport XML file is generated to log which codecs were used during the load processing. These reports also help to determine if there are any errors. However, if you do not want these reports to be produced then follow one of the methods below:
Suppress through Codec Config
In both E-Prime 3.0 and E-Prime 2.0, the load reports can be suppressed by doing the following:
- Open Codec Config.
- Navigate to the Tools Menu.
- Select Options.
- Uncheck "Write out a report after loading a media file".
Suppress through script
In E-Prime 3.0 only, these load reports can be suppressed by adding an Inline object to the end of the experiment with the following script:
Kill "*LoadReport*"
