This article discusses the importance of firmware and software compatibility with the Celeritas device. The important thing to keep in mind when checking firmware and software versions for the Celeritas response device is that the firmware and software versions must match exactly. If you find that there is a mismatch between your software and firmware, there are a few steps to take to ensure compatibility. The first option is to update the firmware on your Celeritas. To update the device’s firmware, you will need to return it to Psychology Software Tools for an update. If you would like to do this, please contact our Product Service and Support Team. If the incompatibility is due to firmware version, we recommend updating your firmware to the latest version instead of downloading an earlier version of the software. The newest version of the firmware includes many important updates that improve the functionality of the Celeritas and its peripheral devices.
