Experiment Description:
This script allows determination of an individual's auditory digit span. It's tunable as far as number of blocks and duration of stimuli are concerned. It gives sets of 5 trials on a set of digits, starting with a length of 3, moving up or down depending on performance (3+ correct makes the number of digits increase, 2-makes it decrease).
Experiment Instructions:
In this experiment a voice speaks a series of numbers in each trial. The first trial begins with a string of three digits. Remember them in order and type them with no spaces on the next screen and press Enter when complete. If participants enter the correct answer the amount of digits per trial increases. If incorrect, the digits spoken per trial will decrease to a minimum of one. There are 30 trials in this experiment.
