During the installation of E-Prime 3, a message box appears indicating that an error occurred while installing the Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment. The error message box specifies one of the following three error codes: 65584, 65573, and 65548.
This error can occur with any of the three error codes listed above when antivirus software interferes with the installation of the Sentinel Run-time Environment. See INFO: Anti-Virus Programs prevent E-Prime from running properly [35789] for details, including suggestions to either disable the antivirus software completely or create exceptions for the files being flagged.
This error can also occur with error code 65583 when deploying with some computer imaging software including SmartDeploy. As described in ERROR: Installing E-Prime 3 Update 3 on SmartDeploy's base image breaks licensing [40856], each image should be deployed without the v2c file; otherwise the E-Prime installation will fail.
