The Implicit Association Task (IAT) is a social psychology measure which detects a participant's subconscious association between mental representations of objects (concepts) in memory.
Abstract
This IAT focuses on determining if the participant views the self positively or negatively compared to others. The stimuli switch "response sides" in the middle of the task. Responses are made with the keyboard.
