Detail
When running an E-Prime experiment in portrait orientation, the X and Y dimensions of the display are reversed. A typical monitor resolution in landscape orientation is 1920x1080. Flipping the display to portrait orientation results in the resolution being 1080x1920. E-Studio throws a runtime error or crashes when the display width and height do not match the orientation used. For example, using a 1920x1080 monitor in portrait orientation and not using 1080x1920 in E-Prime's width and height properties would result in an error or crash.
To resolve this issue, set the appropriate resolution in the Experiment Object Property Pages > Devices tab > Display properties > Width and Height. Alternatively, set the Display to Match Desktop Resolution.
