E-Prime Go 1.0
E-Prime Go experiments that are packed using Automated mode are uploaded to eprimego.com. We recommend that researchers share a link to the experiment instead of sharing the Task-XXXXXXXX.exe file to ensure that the experiment is unpacked with the latest version of the E-Prime Go software (see Section 4.2 of the E-Prime Go User Manual for details). Participants should download the Task-XXXXXXXXX.exe file from eprimego.com just prior to running the task. This ensures that the latest unpacker software is used to access the experiment.
Participants cannot run a previously downloaded Task-XXXXXXXX.exe file if the Experiment Unpacker is outdated. The following occurs if a Task-XXXXXXXX.exe is unpacked with an older version of the software:
1) An error occurs that states that the task is too old to run:
2) A "Task out of date" prompt occurs after the error is dismissed that asks to download the latest version of the task.exe:
3) The download link on the E-Prime Go website opens when "Yes" is selected on the "Task out of date" prompt.
