Experiment Description
This script implements a reading test where only a few words are readable, and the rest of the text is masked. The arrow key's can be used to walk through the text. A custom output file is created with detailed timing information. Contributed by Paul Groot of the Free University of Amsterdam.
Experiment Instructions
This experiment uses InLine Script objects to display a customizable range of words pulled from a .txt file. At experiment startup choose the number of words that appear at the same time. Then choose a .txt file. The .txt file must be in same folder in which the .es or .es3 file is located. Beginning the experiment, every character from the text file is masked under an "x" except for the number of words designated at startup which are unmasked. Navigate which words are masked or unmasked by using the left and right arrow keys. When finished with the experiment, press the Escape key to exit. There is no time limit on this experiment.
