This article applies to:
E-Prime 2.0
E-Prime 1.x
This bug has been corrected in E-Prime 2.0 (2.0.1.62).
Symptoms
While using an experiment that has an enabled Group StartupInfo parameter with a value other than 1, the custom value is not used and results in the default a Group value of 1. The end result is the experiment using values that were not intended for Group. This does not affect a Group parameter that is set to prompt during experiment initialization. The value used for Group may be determined by viewing the appropriate labeled columns in the data file.
Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime 2.0.1.62 or later.
Workaround
This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:
Prompt for this parameter. Edit the .ebs file to specify the values with a c.SetAttrib call.
