BUG FIX: PackageFile Editor automatically inserts open parenthesis after certain statements [19394]

This bug was introduced in the E-Prime 2.0 (2.0.10.242).
This bug has been corrected in E-Prime 2.0 (2.0.10.353).

 
Symptoms
While editing script in the PackageFile Editor program, a left parenthesis will sometimes appear at the end of a line of script without being typed. This behavior appears at random intervals when scripting in the PackageFile Editor program.

Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime 2.0.10.353 or later.

 
Workaround

This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:

  
Delete the errant parenthesis.
