Detail

Transferring the product license is useful for whenever you wish to move a license. To transfer a license, you need the machine you wish to move the CAMCI-Research license to and a machine to you want transfer the license out of.

NOTE: The transfer process, once initiated, must be completed within the required time period (5 days), or the license is not be able to be transferred.

To perform a license transfer, follow these steps:

On the machine you want to transfer TO:

1. Open Licensing and Activation from the Product Information menu
2. Select Transfer License
3. Connect a form of Media (e.g., USB flash drive) to the machine
4. Select Prepare
5. Create a new, empty folder on the Media to place the first transfer file

On the machine you want to transfer FROM:

1. Open Licensing and Activation from the Product Information menu
2. Select Transfer License
3. Connect the Media to the machine
4. Select Transfer Out
5. Select the folder to transfer the license to

On the machine you want to transfer TO:

1. Open Licensing and Activation from the Product Information menu
2. Select Transfer License
3. Connect theMedia to the machine
4. Select Transfer In
5. Select the folder with the license and apply the license

A message indicates If the transfer was successful.
