BUG FIX: After converting Standard experiment to Professional, Professional features aren't available until reopening E-Studio [19559]

This bug has been corrected in E-Prime 2.0 (2.0.10.353).

Symptoms

When using E-Prime 2.0 Professional to open E-Prime 2.0 Standard experiment (.es2) files, you are prompted to either maintain the Standard file format or convert to the Professional file format:

If you convert the file, E-Prime opens the file in E-Studio as a Professional edition file. However, some E-Prime 2.0 Professional features, including Task Events and Package File calls, are not available.

Solution

Update to E-Prime 2.0.10.353 or later.

Workaround

This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:

Close E-Studio, then launch E-Studio and open the experiment file. All Professional features will be restored.
