About the Interface
The title bar is displayed at the top of the application screen. The title bar displays the StartupInfo Editor icon, the name of the application (StartupInfo Editor), and the name of the open StartupInfo (*.startupinfo3) file. The menu bar is displayed at the top of the application screen immediately below the title bar. The menu bar lists the menus available within the StartupInfo Editor application, including the File, Edit, Property, and Help menus. Below the menu bar, the toolbar displays the tool buttons associated with the StartupInfo Editor. The Workspace is located in the center of the application and is used to display the contents of the currently open StartupInfo file.

File Menu

New | Ctrl+N | Creates a new StartupInfo (*.startupinfo3) file. |
Open | Ctrl+O | Opens the selected file using the StartupInfo Editor. Only one file may be opened at a time. |
Save | Ctrl+S | Saves the current StartupInfo file. All StartupInfo files must be saved in the same location as the *.es3 or *.ebs3 file they are associated with and must share the same name (e.g., if the *.es3 or *.ebs3 file is named MyExperiment.es3, the StartupInfo file should be named MyExperiment.startupinfo3) |
Save As | F12 | Opens a prompt for specification of a filename and save location. |
Exit | Alt+F4 | Closes the StartupInfo Editor application. |
Edit Menu
Commands | Shortcut | Function |
Copy Row(s) | Ctrl+C | Copies the currently selected entry. Note that this will copy both the Property Name and the Value for the current entry. |
Paste Row(s) | Ctrl+V | Pastes the copied entry to the last line of the Workspace. |
Find | Ctrl+F | Opens the Find dialog. |
Deselect | Ctrl+D | Clears the current selection. |
Select All | Ctrl+A | Selects all entries in the StartupInfo file. |
Property Menu
Commands | Shortcut | Function |
Add | Ins | Add a new entry in the currently open StartupInfo file. |
Remove | Del | Remove the currently selected entry or entries. |
Name | F2 | Opens the Rename dialog. |
Sort (A-Z) | F3 | Sorts the selected entries alphabetically. |
Edit Value | F4 | Opens the Edit Value dialog. |
Move Up | Ctrl+Up | Moves the selected entry up in the StartupInfo file. |
Move Down | Ctrl+Down | Moves the selected entry down in the StartupInfo file. |
Help Menu

Toolbar
The Toolbar is located at the top of the application display, below the menu bar. The Toolbar includes shortcuts to frequently used functions in the StartupInfo Editor, such as creating a new StartupInfo (*.startupinfo3) file, opening an existing StartupInfo file, or saving the current StartupInfo file.

Property Bar
The Property bar is located in the lower-right corner of the application display. The Property bar includes shortcuts to the functions listed in the Property menu, such as adding/removing items, renaming items, etc.

Workspace
The Workspace displays the contents of the StartupInfo (*.startupinfo3) file currently open. The Workspace is organized as a two-column table with the Property Name and Value(s) for each item displayed in separate rows.
