Symptoms

A runtime error occurs when specifying a Subject number greater than 32767:

Once the runtime error is dismissed, the Output window states the following:

ERROR: The error occurred in the method named "NetStation_WriteSessEvent(c" at line number 92 of a Certified Package File

Workaround

Workaround 1:

If specifying Subject numbers greater than 32767 is required then create an additional StartupInfo parameter (e.g., MyCustomSubject#), set Data Type to String rather than Numeric or Choice, and set the Max Length to allow for enough characters. 

NOTE: When running the experiment, make sure to set E-Prime's default Subject number parameter is greater than 1 to ensure data collection (Subject number 0 = no data collection).

Workaround 2:

For E-Prime Extensions for Net Station enabled experiments, do not exceed Subject number 32767.
