Experiment Description
Investigates whether horizontally or vertically presented addition problems are easier to solve, and whether "carrying" has an effect.
Experiment Instructions
In this experiment two numbers appear on the screen. Add them together and type the answer using a keyboard. While typing, the number appears at the bottom of the screen. The backspace key may be used to erase the answer if it's typed incorrectly. Press the spacebar to move on to the next question. There are 48 trials in this experiment.
