Detail
E-Prime has the ability to choose whether an experiment should load external name/value pairs from (experiment).startupInfo or global.startupInfo files.
This is accomplished in two ways:
- The first is by using the check box in the StartupInfotab of the Experiment Object.
- The second way is to use the ProhibitTransfer=1 StartupInfo name/value pair in the (experiment).startupInfo and global.startupInfo files.
NOTE: If the check box is unchecked at time of script generation, then no method can load values from .startupInfo files. If the check box is checked, then the values are loaded unless the ProhibitTransfer = 1 name/value pair exists in the (experiment).startupInfo and global.startupInfo files.
