Previous versions of E-Prime had an unexpected design implementation where the Terminate End Action for response and Sound/Movie would terminate objects other than the one that started the Input Mask, Movie, Sound, etc.
An example would be TD1 has a Keyboard Input Mask and a Duration and PreRelease value of 1000. TD2 and TD3 follow TD1. Because the PreRelease of TD1 moves execution of the .ebs script into TD2 to allow it to prepare, if a response occurred it would terminate the run of TD2.
E-Prime 2.0 has been updated so that only the object that started the Input Mask, Sound, or Movie would be terminated.
NOTE: This behavior could affect experiments authored in previous verisons of E-Prime. If the functionality desired is to terminate an object other than the one that started the Input Mask, Sound, or Movie, then use the Jump End Action and associate a Label object.
