This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 1.x (1.2.1.804).

Symptoms

Renaming an object and then closing E-Studio should prompt "Do you want to save?", but it does not. This results in the change to the name of the object not being saved.

Solution
Update to E-Prime 1.2 or later.
