This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 1.1 SP1.

Symptoms
Although adjusting a variable through the use of Canvas.Fontsize, SlideText.FontSize, or TextDisplay.FontSize works as expected, getting the current value from these properties incorrectly returns the value of 18.

Solution
Update to E-Prime 1.1 SP1 or later.
