BUG FIX: Saving .es file with recursive loop causes crash when reopened [17164]

This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 2.0.

Symptoms
When opening a file in E-Studio, an error message indicating the file cannot be opened. This may be due to a recursive loop in the experiment. For example, if any List has SessionProc listed in its Procedure attribute.


Solution
Upgrade to E-Prime 2.0 or later.

Workaround

This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:

Take caution in ensuring your experiment does not have any recursive loops prior to closing E-Studio.
