Detail
In E-Prime 1.0 and 1.1, when the sound file and Sound device did not match properties (Number of Channels, Bits Per Sample, and Samples Per Second), a runtime error occured with generic information such as "mismatch channels". This feature adds the text below to assist the user in taking action on their own to correct the problem:
Please ensure that the Number of Channels, Bits Per Sample, and Samples Per Second properties of the Sound Device in Experiment Object match the sound file. You can determine the configuration of your sound file by right clicking on it in Windows Explorer, selecting Properties, and then viewing the Summary property page.
NOTE: In E-Prime 2.0 and 3.0 the SoundOut settings is automatically applied.
