BUG FIX: Output Debug pane wraps/replaces text after numerous lines [16944]

This article applies to:

E-Prime 1.1
E-Prime 1.0

This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 1.2.

Symptoms
When having a large amount of text to the output/debug pane in E-Studio, contents will begin to wrap or paint unexpectedly.


Detail
This is due to the output/debug pane only being able to hold 64KB of data.

Solution
Update to E-Prime 1.2 or later.


Workaround

This workaround is intended only for those who are unable to update to the version of E-Prime that contains the bug fix:

Clear the output/debug pane before running or trim the amount of text being displayed to the output/debug pane.
