This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 1.2 (1.2.1.814).

Symptoms
When opening E-Studio, the main windows initially appears behind other windows on the desktop and requires clicking the task bar to gain focus.

Solution
Update to E-Prime 1.2.1.814 or later.
