This article applies to:
E-Prime 1.2
This bug has been fixed in E-Prime 1.2 (1.2.1.845).
Symptoms
Setting RandomSeed StartupInfo value is ignored when attempting to replicate experiment order.
Detail
While using an experiment that has an enabled RandomSeed parameter with a non-default value, the custom value is not used and results in the default of an auto-generated RandomSeed. This results in the experiment using values that were not intended for use as a RandomSeed value. This does not affect a RandomSeed parameter that is set to prompt during experiment initialization.
The value used for RandomSeed may be determined by viewing the appropriate labeled columns in the data file.
Solution
Update to E-Prime 1.2.1.845 or later.
