Installation of third party software, running other software while running CAMCI-Research, or connection to a network can result in notifications or other interruptions of the CAMCI-Research software.

Interruptions caused by such notifications can render sessions invalid or incomplete.  If third-party software is installed on the computer used to collect data, we recommend that notifications are turned off for that application.

We recommend using as few background applications and services as possible while running an experiment. This helps to avoid configuration conflicts. Any non-essential applications or services should be closed or turned off when running a test session in order to avoid interruptions or errors.
