EXPERIMENT DESIGN: Sample Experiments [23971]

Sample experiments are provided as part of your E-Prime installation (default installation...\Documents\My Experiments\3.0\Samples).  Aside from illustrating key concepts within E-Prime experiment design, the sample experiments may be used as templates from which you can modify an experiment to fit your needs.  The following sample experiments are provided:

• BasicRT – reaction time experiment presenting text using a TextDisplay object
• PictureRT – reaction time experiment presenting an image using an ImageDisplay object
• SoundRT – reaction time experiment presenting sound using a SoundOut object
• SlideRT – combined text and image reaction time experiment using a Slide object
• MovieRT – reaction time experiment presenting a movie using a MovieDisplay object
• NestingRT – allows selection of different word lists from different conditions
• NestingXRT – illustrates the use of extended responses, borders, colors, and inputs from multiple devices
• MultipleDisplayRT – illustrates the use of multiple monitor displays
• BasicButtonRT – illustrates use of the Button sub-object on a Slide object as the method of input
• Survey1 – illustrates use of SlideChoice and SlideSlider to collect demographic information and survey-type responses
• Survey2 – illustrates use of SlideChoice and SlideSlider to present a variety of rating-scale survey types
• ScriptTaskEvents - illustrates the use of Script Task Events to manipulate SlideButton circumstances
