E-PRIME2 experiment with zoom
Hello
The lab im working at is running an experiment in E-PRIME2 remotely. Up until now the person running the experiment did it in the following method:
She would start a zoom talk with the participant and share her screen with remote access given to the participant, then she ran the experiment in her computer. When the experiment started running, her screen would become blank and the participant's would go through the experimant as usual.
Now a new laborant is trying to run the experiment using the same method. But now the participant's screen becomes blank white and they cannot go throught the experiment. Both me and the laborant attempted to run the experiment and could not find out why it only worked for the previous person (she also doesn't know).
Does anyone know why we can't seem to run the experiment on our computers? is this some kind of perference on the computer, zoom or the experiment? where should i look?
Is this a legit way to run an experiment remotely? It felt kind of strange to me when i heard about it. Can we use E-PRIME GO with an E-PRIME2 experiment? what is the right method?
best regards and hope my english is right

Hi Erol
Thank you for the advice.
The researcher decided that this perticular experiment can be upgraded to E-Prime 3 with no danger of compatibility issues with former results. So eventually, we upgraded to E-Prime 3 and ran the experiment in windowed mode. And that solved it.
cheers
