E-Prime Go and DirectX 12?
One of our participants attempted to launch E-Prime Go with our experiment file and received the following error message:
The participant has DirectX12 (as it's part of the latest version of Windows10), which seems to make their system incompatible with E-Prime Go. I understand that DirectX 11 is required for E-Prime 3.x (https://support.pstnet.com/hc/en-us/articles/229358967), but does this mean that those with higher versions of DirectX won't be able to access our E-Prime experiment? Is there a work-around to this issue?
Thanks!

In general, the DirectX version is packaged with the OS (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/179113/how-to-install-the-latest-version-of-directx). Even though this lists DirectX 12, that does not mean it supports all DirectX 12 features (or even DirectX 11 features). To run with the current E-Prime Go 1.0.1.44, the machine must meet the same requirements found on https://support.pstnet.com/hc/en-us/articles/229358787-TIMING-E-Prime-requires-specific-DirectX-11-settings-for-accurate-timing-19550-.

DDI version must be at least 11.
-
The WDDM version must be at least 1.1.
-
The Features Levels must be at least 11.0.
If you login to the support site and look under Downloads > E-Prime 3.0, you will see a download under "Utility Downloads for E-Prime 3.0" called PcQualify. This can be distributed to participants to screen their PC prior to running.
If you need more assistance, please contact PST support.
I hope this helps!
