We are working with a previously compiled E-prime executable file that incorporates sound into the task design. The task was compiled by another research group we are collaborating with and we managed to make it work with production of the sound. But only once.
Every time since then we have been experiencing the same error (Error Number 101) in Line 429. It reads, "Cannot access sound presenter for playing".
I have double-checked the sound, the driver, restarted the computer, reinstalled the software and downloaded fresh copies of the task file. Each time the same error pops up.
I am a complete novice with anything E-Prime, so I hope your expertise would be helpful in this regard.
We would really appreciate any help in this matter, so we can resolve the issue and continue with data acquisition as soon as possible.
