Certain phases in my experiment require a yellow highlight to indicate the correct image of a pair, so I currently do this by having a yellow border around the correct image. I'm now trying to find the best way to make a flashing yellow highlight/border around an image in EPrime. I thought this might be able to be done in two ways:
1. Put a flashing movie file behind the image (left visible around the image edges)
2. Make the image border itself flash
I've been trying at the second one. I made a 4-second video clip of alternating yellow and white images. When I put this on my slide and moved it to the back, I got a pop-up warning that movie files will always be presented above anything else when the experiment is run. Is this true? Does anyone have a suggestion of how to get around this? All my images have the same height but not the same width.
Another side problem is that my mp4 crashes my experiment, but that won't be an issue unless anyone knows how to make the first option work.
Does anyone know if the second option, making a border flash/blink, is possible?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
