In a go/no-go task, I've designated a non-response as the correct response to no-go stimuli (i.e., the number 3) by entering [correct] in the correct field for the stimulus slide and leaving the cell in the "correct" column in the corresponding list empty for no-go trials. Just empty, no " ". This has worked fine when I rand the program in e-prime version 2.0.8. We've since upgraded to 2.0.10 in our lab, and the script doesn't work anymore. It runs without error messages, but responses to no-go stimuli are now scored as incorrect when participants omit responses. This is particularly problematic, as they also get feedback during the task, and now they're receiving incorrect feedback. I'm still having version 2.0.8 installed on an old computer, and just double checked, the task works fine there and gives the right feedback. So this must be due to some difference between the versions, rather than to how I programmed the script. Can anybody tell me what's going on and how to fix this? I'd very much appreciate it!
