E-Data aid cannot open file- E Prime 2.0

Hi,

I am starting to have a problem where when I open some .edat2 files I get a pop-up saying: "E-Data aid cannot open file. Verify file is an E-Prime data file and is already open." This only happens on a few files, the rest are fine to open. 

Has anyone else had this problem, and how can it be fixed? Thanks.

  Ana-Bianca Popa, I had this problem this morning (1.31.18). Have you found a solution?

  When I try to open the E-data aid  2 file from an e-prime 2 script that I ran, it brings up an error that says "File cannot be opened. Verify that file is and E-prime 2.0 file and not already open."
