Upgrading and Downgrading from 2.0 to 3.0

E-Prime newbie here. Thank you for all of the information both here and on the Google Groups page. It has been very helpful to read through your thoughts, look at your examples, etc. We really appreciate it!

I am using E-Prime 3.0, and my colleague has E-Prime 2.0 (he's at another university). I am open up his files, upgrade them, and all that, but it doesn't seem that the opposite is true. I have found no options to "Save As E-Prime 2.0" or anything like that. Most of the experiments that we've been toying with are very rudimentary (i.e., no sound, no videos, no custom inline coding) -- is there no work-around? It doesn't seem that I would be able to even use E-Prime 2.0 Studio to work on these files in a way that he can later access them. Am I just out of luck?

We are having the same issue and have not been able to find any way around it. Have you found a solution to the problem or been contacted with one?

Alex, Yes, you are just out of luck. This happens with every major version change.

Alex, we have had the sample problem in our lab and it seems there is no hope with that...bummer :(
