We have questions about how to configure and initialize parallel port communications. We are migrating from Windows XP to Windows 10 for presenting stimuli in our MEG lab. The parallel ports is not built in but an expansion cards that we plugged in to the new Windows 10 PC. We couldn't send triggers when we run tasks that was programmed using ePrime 1. According to the Knowledge base, one can set the properties of the parallel port device using add "Add Devices" dialog and "Edit ParallelPortDevice Properties". I couldn't find those dialog in ePrime 3. Where can I access these dialogs?
We know the parallel port works because we are able to send triggers using other softwares by defining the port address. Unlike the built in parallel port, the address is listed as DFF8-DFFF instead of the typical I/O address of the card for built-in LPT1 (0378-037F). Could someone help me to correctly configure or set address for the parallel port?
