Voice key not tripping

The voice key is not being tripped, even when using the "Utilities" function where it is already set up as an allowable input. We have performed basic troubleshooting, such as re-plugging in the microphone and SR box and restarting the computer. The microphone is working when simply plugged into the computer (and not through the SR box). The voice key had been tripping before, and we have not adjusted anything on the computer/SR box.
