I am very new to E-prime. I am working on an E-prime program with lots of movie clips, all in avi format. This format has been working well when I tested with a small number of videos in the preliminary stage. However, after I added all 84 videos today, E-prime has been very unstable. Sometimes the experiment runs very smoothly and sometimes it crashes and I get the message "unable to update frame error", with error number 11031. I have tried to reduce the frame per second from 30 to 25. I have also tried different file formats (avi, mp4). I was also wondering if 84 videos are too many that make E-prime overload so I have tried to break down the experiment into smaller blocks and lists and separate them into smaller files. But this error still appears occasionally. I am very desperate now as I am on a tough timeline. Did anyone encounter the same problem before? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
